Chomsky's reference to the growing importance of multinationals proved prescient--and certainly Foucault's assesment of supposedly neutral institutions as comfortably perpetuating power structures is sensible.
For me, an important aspect is how we work within, or transform, structures so that opportunity is enhanced and diversity of views celebrated. As in biology, strength comes through diversity not conformity. So I have found it in organizational and personal life. But our insttutional paradigm (wherever played out) seems stuck in an industrial model that resists "chaos" in favour of predictability. Interesting food for thought.
